Tea tower Dutch National Archive, red-orange series
Tea towels related to history. The towels are one of the product series that Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe especially designed for the renovated National Archive in the Hague, also designed by them. This collection consists of imagelayers with different lengths (colour layer, historical layer, contemporary history layer). Because of the overlap of these layers endless variations of tea towels are generated. The images come from documents of the National Archive and the towels are made at the Dutch Textile Museum.
If you order a tea towel the exact illustration will be a suprise.
