Tablecloth & 4 napkins Dutch National Archives, grey-brown
Tablecloth and napkins related to history. The design arises from the tea towel series that Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe especially designed for the renovated National Archive in the Hague, which is also designed by them. Like the tea towels the tablecloths and napkins consist of image layers with different lengths (colour layer, historical layer, contemporary history layer). Therefore endless variations of tablecloths are generated. The images come from documents of the National Archive. The collection is made at the Dutch Textile Museum.
If you order a tablecloth the exact illustration will be a suprise.
